What we collect

• Account information: username and email address when you create an account.
• Learning progress: your exercise scores and completed units, to track your progress and provide personalised recommendations.
• Preferences: your chosen target language, reference language, and study topic.
• Usage data: anonymised analytics to improve the app (e.g. crash reports, session length).

What we do not collect

• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not collect payment information (purchases are handled by Google Play / Apple App Store).

How we use your data

• To provide and improve the Scriva service.
• To save your learning progress across devices.
• To send occasional service-related emails (no marketing without consent).

Data storage

Your data is stored securely on servers hosted by Railway (railway.app). Data is retained for as long as your account is active.

Third-party services

• Google AdMob – used to serve ads to free users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Expo / EAS – used for app delivery and over-the-air updates.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request account or data deletion, please email us at support@scriva-app.com.

Children

Scriva is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
